General comment about the game
Västerås welcomes struggling Brage today in the Swedish Superettan. As we have written in earlier previews, Västerås has been one of the best teams in recent months. Västerås got a draw last round at home against a strong Öster side, in a game where both teams played very good. Prior that they had four straight victories at home and also a number of good results taken on the road. As said before; Västerås has the best striker in Superettan this year in Stefan Bärlin who has made 19 goals so far. Västerås has their captain and midfielder Johan Svensson out with suspension today; otherwise the squad is fully available. Worth to mention is that Västerås will have their 100 years jubilee today which means that there is no entrance fee, and probably this means that there will be a very big crowd attending the game.
Brage is struggling and has only taken a few points on the road this season; mostly against the other bottom teams. Last round they won their first away match of the season when playing against fellow bottom side Friska Viljor. The game was very bad and neither team had many chances to score, but in the end Brage was the less bad team since they could score the only goal and set the final result to 0-1. Brage has at least two regular players missing tonight in forward Johan Berg (suspended) and midfielder Jesper Johansson (injured). Furthermore, regular forward Jörgen Sundström is rated very doubtful. This means that they probably will be without three first team regulars and since they have a pretty thin squad it will mean selection problems for the manager.
