Final reasons

Barnet is the best team so far in the Conference League and at home they have really been like a goal machine. Burton has players missing today and since this is most defensive players we think that Barnet will have another day at home when they make lot of goals. We stake 4% on the home win.

General comment about the game

Barnet is the current leader in the Conference League and so far they have only lost one point and that was in the second round when they drew away to Farnborough. At home Barnet has been excellent. They have won all four home games and in these matches they have made 16 goals. Their best striker is Giuliano Grazioli and he has already made eight goals and if he can continue in the same style Barnet really is a hot candidate for promotion. Last round Barnet played at home to Gravesend and won 4-1. The game started quite slow but then suddenly, during a ten minute period in the first half, Barnet scored three fast goals. In the second half Gravesend went little more forward but they had difficulties to hit the goal. In the end of the game Barnet made their fourth goal before Gravesend got their consolation goal. Barnet has two long term absentees missing otherwise all players are available today, and the team should therefore be at full strength.

Burton started the season quite bad with only two points in their first six games. After that they have won two games in a row with 1-0 over Crawley Town and Stevenage. The last game at Crawley saw Burton taking the lead in the middle of first half. In the second half Laurie Wilson was sent off but Burton managed to hold the lead to the final whistle. For the second game in a road Burton was more organised in the defence but their attack seems poor since the only goal came after a mistake by Crawley. Also the goal against Stevenage came after a mistake from the opponents. Burton has been hit by injuries the whole season and also today some players are missing by different reasons. Defender Laurie Wilson (5(3) apps, 0 goals) is suspended while midfielder Darren Stride (6 apps, 0 goals), defender Terry Henshaw (3 apps, 0 goals) and defender Ian Wright (1 apps, 0 goals) all are out with injuries. Jamie Price (2 apps, 0 goals) and Andy Corbett (2(2) apps, 0 goals) are both doubtful and face late fitness tests.
