Final reasons
League leader Barnet intends to get back to winning ways tomorrow when they entertain Woking at home. Barnet has a nearly fully fit squad and with Grazioli still making goals in nearly every game we believe that they will take their fifth straight home victory here. Woking is a mid table team with some ups and downs, and when comparing them to Barnet we fully believe that they shall be too weak here. Barnet has been very successful with their goalscoring this year and we regard this as the main reason why Woking wont be able to make such good results as in recent two rounds. We go for the home win and stake 3%.
General comment about the game
Tomorrow Barnet welcomes Woking to Underhill for a clash in the Conference League. Barnet is the current leader while Woking resides in the middle on position twelve. So far Barnet has been impressing in most games. They have two draws on the road and one loss at home, otherwise winning has been their melody. At home they started with four comfortable wins before doing a less good job in the second half against Burton. During a period of three minutes Burton came from 1-2 to 3-2. Barnet played very well in the first half of that game but the second half was less impressive. Last game Barnet played away to Scarborough in a game that ended 1-1. Barnet took an early lead after a goal by top scorer Grazioli. This early goal made Scarborough going forward and playing very attacking minded football. During the major part of the second half Scarborough had most ball aiming for an equaliser. The Barnet defence let one goal in after 52 minutes but could then deny more goals, although Scarborough creating some other good chances. Also Barnet created some danger in the second half but without scoring. Barnet has no new injuries, and will be able to field a strong starting line up tomorrow, as they have done in most games this season. The only player who is out is goalkeeper Shane Gore (3 apps) but since he has been out for a while this does not seem to affect the Barnet team in a very bad way.
Woking has started the new season in a very inconsistent way. They win some games, draw some and lose some. On the road they have lost two out of five games and the only win was against struggling Tamworth two rounds ago. After beating Tamworth they also beat newcomer Canwey at home with the single goal. In these winning games Woking have used a 4-5-1 system and it is most possible that they will play in the same way tomorrow in order to handle the dangerous forwards in Barnet. Against Canwey this worked very well. Woking played quite defensive and although Canwey passing the ball quite well they could not really threaten. Instead it was Woking who took the lead in the end of first half. The second half continued in the same way with a Woking side playing very cautiously and not so attacking minded. Canwey never got any goal, and were rewarded their first away loss of the season. Woking has midfielder Liam Cockerill (4(1) apps) unavailable through injury and they have doubts over midfielder Karl Murray (8 apps) who will have a late fitness test. Otherwise all players are available.
