General comment about the game
This Sunday afternoon Assyriska welcomes struggling Frölunda to a new round in the Swedish Superettan. Assyriska is in good form with six wins from the last seven games. Last round Assyriska played away to Enköping and won 4-1 after a very good performance and with two goals made from new signing Dani Hamso who played in Allsvenskan last year. Enköping who is a relegation fighter was not bad but as Assyriska played one of the best games this season Enköping had no chance. Assyriska has no injuries in the squad but defender Zoran Manovic is suspended today.
Frölunda is on the tenth place and they have really nothing left to play for this season. This has also been very apparent in recent games where Frölunda has played very uninspired. They are one of the worst form teams in the league with seven losses in the last ten games. They now have three straight defeats and there is no reason why any major changes in their way of playing should come up to the game against Assyriska. In midweek Frölunda lost the derby against GAIS with 2-1. The result was very fair since GAIS had the best play and the best chances, but it was Frölunda who very surprisingly took the lead in the first half. In the second half GAIS starts in a fabulous way and they have 1-1 before 46 minutes have passed. The second GAIS goal comes after 82 minutes, and it felt very correct. There have been no reports about any new injuries in Frölunda, and it is therefore likely that they will field the same players as against GAIS.
