Pick: Assyriska
Stake: 3%
Odds: 1,95
Final reasons
Three rounds to go in the Swedish Superettan. Best form team Assyriska has finally closed the gap to second placed Gefle and now only goal difference separates the two. At stake is a place in next year’s Allsvenskan. Also Falkenberg is highly motivated for this game since they are involved in the relegation battle. However, we believe in Assyriska in this game since they simply are the better team and if they can perform as they have done in recent months, Falkenberg will have nothing to put up against. Medium stake, 3% is recommended.
General comment about the game
This Sunday afternoon Assyriska travels south to face Falkenberg in the Swedish Superettan. Assyriska’s fine form continues. Now they have nine wins, two draws and only one defeat since they changed manager during the summer. This good spell has seen them climb up to third place in the league and with a real good chance of direct promotion to Allsvenskan next year. Only goal difference separates them from second placed Gefle. In last round we suggested a bet on Assyriska when they played at home against Västra Frölunda. Early on, Assyriska looked more nervous than usual but after they scored the winner it was more as usual. The victory was well deserved. Today they have a full squad to choose from and both players and manager are full of confidence and are eager to grab another three points.
Relegation battlers Falkenberg is currently in 12th place, two points above the drop zone. Falkenberg has had quite a strange season. At home they did only collect two points from their first eleven matches. Fortunately, they played better on the road so their bid to stay put in Superettan was still alive. However, lately this has changed. Now they have two straight wins at home and two losses away. Especially last home game was a real good performance when they beat in form Norrköping with 4-2. This was only their second match when they have taken points from any of the better teams, also last time it was against Norrköping. Last week they met another team from the upper regions; Åtvidaberg. This time it was more back to normal since they lost with 3-0. No new injury or suspension worries are reported from Falkenberg.
