Final reasons
Once again we believe that a good Viborg side will win over struggling Silkeborg. We put 2% on the home win.
For the second time in November it is time for highflying Viborg to take on struggling Silkeborg at home. Last time we proposed this game Viborg only got a draw 1-1. But the confidence is good and they still play well. Last round they played away to league leaders Bröndby and lost 1-0. Although losing Viborg made a strong appearance, especially in the second half where they had a number of good goal scoring opportunities. Bröndby’s winning goal came in the middle of the second half and after that Viborg pushed forward in order to equalise. Viborg seems to be able to field their strongest line up tomorrow. Only doubt is goal keeper Jesper Christiansen who injured his nose in midweek, but according to the club he is very likely to take part of the Saturday action.
As we wrote about Silkeborg earlier on they made a good start of the season but have then been struggling. From the eleven latest games they have recorded one win and one draw and that does not look promising if they aim to stay in the top flight next season. They are also the worst away team in the league with six losses from eight games played. Last round they went to Randers and played another newcomer. Randers won 4-0 and that was of course a bad day for Silkeborg and even more worse considering that they shall be happy that they did not lose with more than 4-0. Unfortunately defender Henrik Schnedler became injured and he will therefore miss the game tomorrow.
