Pick: Bournemouth

Final reasons
In form Bournemouth welcomes bad traveller Chesterfield with the only aim to steal all three points from them. Although shifting one of the strikers because of an injury we believe that Bournemouth will overcome Chesterfield. However we take it a little careful and stake 2%.
General comment about the game
Fourth placed Bournemouth is the best form side in the English League One for the moment. From the last ten league games they have won seven. The last league game was played away against Peterborough. Bournemouth took an early lead and after playing very good and attacking in the first half they sat back in the second half and defended in order to win. Peterborough had some penalty appeals that were turned down but otherwise they did not create so much. Bournemouth manager Sean O’Driscoll was very pleased to see how well his players responded after the loss at home to Barnsley in the previous round. Bournemouth will have their top striker James Hayter (17 apps, 11 goals) unavailable because of injury. This is a blow but since fellow striker Dani Rodriguez (8 apps, 3 goals) is once again available after his injury Bournemouth should still be so strong that they can win.
Eight placed Chesterfield is a good home side but quite a bad away side. So far they have only one victory and two draws on the road, compared with six wins and three draws at home. Last league game Chesterfield won at home to Blackpool after an injury time goal that just as well could have been dismissed because of an obstruction on the goalkeeper. However since this apparently was Chesterfield’s lucky day, they got three points but a draw should have been most fair. Chesterfield has some players doubtful tomorrow but it looks as if most of the important players will be available for selection.
