General comment about the game

Sixth placed Torquay welcomes 18th placed Boston to a Saturday afternoon game in division 3. Torquay were one of our mid week picks and since it turned out to be successful, we believe in them once again. Torquay is one of the best teams for the moment in division 3 and now they have six wins from seven games. The performance last weekend away to Hull was brilliant, and the midweek game against Scunthorpe saw a Torquay side that also were able to win a very tough game. As long as Torquay will be able to combine creative football with hard work it is a good guess that they will keep on going in the winning line. The game against Scunthorpe gave no new injuries. The only who is out to the Boston game is striker Jo Koffour (21 apps, 6 goals) who did not take part in the Scunthorpe either because of injury. Torquay has no suspensions ahead of the game.

Boston United has been quite good at home this season and with seven wins they stay on the eleventh spot in the home table. However when they play away, they seem to be a completely different team. With only 9 points taken on the road from 16 games played, they are the second worst away team in the league.  Last weekend Boston played at home to York, a game ending with a 2-0 victory for Boston. It was not a remarkable game, but after a goalless first half with neither team able to perform any good play, Boston became more efficient in the second half, forcing the goal keeper in York to a number of saves. However two balls passed him and since the York captain was given the red card in the second half  York didn’t really upset Boston at all. Ahead of this game Boston has signed Jermaine Brown until the end of the season. Brown belongs to Arsenal but has been on loan at Crystal Palace. No new injuries have been reported from the Boston side.

We think that Torquay will keep up the good work and grab another win here, since we find it hard to believe that poor travellers Boston will have anything to put up. We stake 3% on the home win.
