Pick:       Holbaek (Asian hcp -0,25)

Stake:     3%

                Place 2,6% on Holbaek; 2,10

                Place 0,4% on Draw; 3,85

Final reasons

Holbaek has the possibility to catch up with Naestved and grab the final promotion spot, and the motivation should really be an important issue here. Also bearing in mind that B1909 has not been the best of away teams and that Holbaek has looked very strong at home lately, we think that this is a good bet. We go for 3% here and think that an Asian hcp giving half the stake back if the game ends with a draw is the best bet opportunity.

General comment about the game

Holbaek welcomes B1909 to an early game in the Danish Division 2 today. Holbaek are 4 points behind Naestved on the final promotion spot and with 4 rounds to go and with Naestved feeling quite out of shape they really have the possibility to catch up with them. Holbaek is a decent home side with eight victories from thirteen games played. On the two latest home games Holbaek has played very well and managed to win both with a total goal score of 12-2. Last weekend Holbaek played away against second placed HIK. HIK was very good on midfield and forced Holbaek to play with more long balls than normally and this was the recipe for them to win the game. When being down 0-1 Holbaek had some good chances to equalise but HIK was the better team for the day and 2-0 was secured in the end. No injuries or suspensions are reported ahead of the B1909 game.

B1909 has lost the real possibility of grabbing the final promotion spot and they really have nothing left to play for this season more than honour. More important for the club at the moment is their financial situation that may force them down in the league system. Looking at B1909 from a footballing point of view they are more of a home team than away team. Playing on the road this year has given them eight losses from thirteen games. Lucky for B1909 is that they have a tendency not to draw when playing on the road so beside the eight losses there is 5 wins for them. Last round B1909 played at home to Kolding and as in many other games at home this year B1909 started most aggressive and consequently they managed to score the first goal after a header on a corner. But after the goal it was Kolding who had most of the play and also made 1-1 just after the host’s goal. The visitors also had a couple of extra chances to make 2-1 before half time. In the second half a quite open B1909 defence invited Kolding who could score the winner 2-1. B1909 appear to a have all important players available to the game today.
