Pick: Mjällby

Odds: 1,70
Final reasons
Table toppers Mjällby is in very good form having won their latest four games. Mjällby are one of the favourites to win the league this year and after a shaky start with only one point from the first two matches they now have hit the good form. Laholm has surprised so far and is currently in third place in the league three points behind Mjällby. However, they have not the same quality in the squad as Mjällby has. Therefore, we believe that Mjällby will continue with another win tonight. Medium stake 3% is suggested.
General comment about the game
In Sweden there are six separate leagues in the second division. They are divided after region and it is only the team that finish first in each regional league that has an opportunity to be promoted to Superettan. The six league winners will compete for three places. On Monday one of the league favourites Mjällby will take on Laholm at home on Strandvallen and we believe that to be a good bet opportunity. Last year was a disappointment for Mjällby even if they finished as table toppers. The goal was to reach Superettan but they lost in the playoffs against GAIS. Also this year their goal is to be promoted and as it seems they will have a good opportunity. They have now found the good form and are on a stroll of four straight victories. The squad is strong and the come back in last game from experienced midfielders Peter Hiir-Salakka and Jonas Andersson has further strengthened the squad and the opportunities for the manager. In last round they played away against Malmö Anadolu and according to their manager Sören Cratz they played their best football for the season. Mjällby was the better team during the whole game but found it hard to create any real danger in the first half. In second half the home team surprised when they scored the leading goal but Mjällby turned the match around and won rightfully with 3-1. Manager Cratz has no new injury or suspension worries to deal with for tonight. However, striker Philip Jonasson will miss out once again.
Laholm is expected to be a mid table team this year. So far they have three wins, one draw and two defeats. This has put them in third place. Two of their victories have come against teams that are not supposed to be near the title race and the third was a good victory at home against IFK Malmö. However, Malmö has underachieved big time so far so we do not worry about this result. Their two defeats have come against better teams such as Kristianstad and Hässleholm. Last game at home to Höllviken was a quite dull experience with just a few goal opportunities. When the visitors got their defender John Bergqvist sent off Laholm managed to score two late goals and the match ended 2-0 to the hosts.
